Friends and cakes

We have spent the last couple of weekends with our friends helping them make cakes. It has been a lot of fun!! We have been really pleased with how everything keeps turning out. About a week and a half ago, on Friday, we helped them make items for their bake sale. They were doing a yard sale and didn't have anything to sell, so they were doing a combined bake sale. The profits went to the deaf center so that they can have a Christmas party. I loved making cupcakes and think they turned out so cute.

Then this last Saturday, we made a Scooby Doo cake for their nephew/cousin. It was one of the more difficult cakes we have made due to the support it needed. It ended up being one of our most structurally sound cakes we have made. It also turned out really cute. I loved it! Happy 3rd Birthday Noah!!

We didn't finish the cake until about one in the morning and apparently Morgan couldn't stay awake. Good night Mo, I hope my kitchen floor treats you well.

Braxton's new found love...Olivia! She likes Star Wars and is a tomboy. He thinks she is the cats meow!!

catch up and cake photo's

Mother of the Bride, Me, and Sister of the Bride.

We've been really busy this last month. I was in a friends wedding. Ryan made several cakes. Braxton turned 5! I don't have much to say but wanted to share some pictures with you.

The fire department came out due to the fire alarms continuing to go off. Turned out to just be a malfunction.

Braxton's birthday "cake". We didn't have time to bake a cake and we realize that we never eat our own cakes (because it's really hard to eat your own masterpiece) so it's just made of rice krispies.
