We Are Slackers!!!

It has sure been a while since we threw up a post, so here we go. We have done quite a bit in the last few weeks. First off when coming home from the first BYU game we ran into a little problem. As we were picking up our children Jaclyn thought it would make for an interesting night if she fell and pulled a ligament in her foot. If she wasn't in enough discomfort by carrying a basketball in her tummy she now gets to wear a boot on her foot. Not fun for her. Soon after that we took our annual trip to Lava Hot springs to run the river. Braxton and I had to throw up the Fohawk is it is a tradition as well. IT was a blazing 59 degrees out side with a water temperature just above freezing. Surprisingly I didn't see any ice in the river. After two long and cold runs we decided to call it quits. It was super fun once your body numbed up and you couldn't feel anything. The worst part was getting out of the river and standing out in the cold and wind trying to haul the tubes back up to the top. We did spend the next part of the night in the hot pools that range from 107 degrees to somewhere around 114 degrees. They sure felt nice.
Last weekend we went on the ward campout in Hobble Creek Canyon. There was a huge turn out as 7 families showed up. It actually made it really fun only have a few families there. We spent about 3 hours playing milk jug baseball. We played until almost ten at night. What it is is baseball but you use an empty milk jug as the ball. It was crazy fun. It is easy to hit, but hard to hit very far. Also it is near impossible to catch and throw as it spins in all directions and is slippery. The only problem was is that the adults wanted to start there own game because it was getting to fierce for the children as it was no holds bar when running between bases. When we finally went to bed the fun really began. Chloe woke up around 1:30am crying and wouldn't stop. Jaclyn finally took her into the car to warm up and try to sleep. Braxton then climbed into my sleeping bag, and that is how we spent the night. No one really got much sleep. But is was worth it. Also Braxton made a new girl friend on the trip. She is a 12 year old girl that lives down the street. He followed her the entire time and wouldn't go to bed until she did. He even cried when we left because he didn't want to leave her. The next day at church he even sat with her the entire time and didn't make a peep. That just might be a blessing.
Finally if anyone has actually read this long blog of mine, I am proud of you. This is longer then most books that I have read in my life. We are hoping to have the baby soon. Jaclyn is in a bunch of pain each day. So please say some prayers that will make her water break and then they have to take us. As soon as we do have the baby I will make sure to post some picks. Until then, peace!

Whew, that was quite a novel for you, Ryan! But you always sound like you're having the greatest of times even when things are getting crazy. Jaclyn will definately be in my prayers. Any names picked out yet?
