It was a very busy weekend this last week. We spent most of the weekend filming the next installment of our music videos. It was a ton of fun. We went all over Lehi and found some random placing to shoot our video. Jaclyn has spent most of her time editing the video and getting it finished. We will have it posted by the weekend. So make sure to check back later for that. Also on Monday my sister needed to make a cake for a YW event in her ward. We all watch a ton of Ace of Cakes on the food network and think we can do the same thing. The theme was "The Worth of Souls". I wasn't sure how we were going to make the cake but i told her to bake a lot of them and stack them up tall. We dedided to make the shoe cake upside down so that the sole was on top. I think that it turned out pretty good. For our second cake out of fondant I feel it looks pretty good. I am sure that there will be more to come. Here are some of the pics of the process.
Like I told Brittney, I would have a hard time cutting into that cake, even though it looks delicious!! Kudos!! That is a fantastic cake and I can't wait to see what else you come up with. :)
What an awesome cake, I don't think you need any help with fondant but I'd be glad to talk with you about it! How did the homemade fondant go? I found a recipe and it works pretty well, except the leftover is kind of hard to reuse. Great job!

That cake looks amazing! It looks almost as good as the sprinkle cake the kids decorated for Emily's birthday. How did it taste?
