Halloween Fun

Of course, as you all know, this last weekend was Halloween. We were invited to a party with some friends the night before, which was very fun. So, Ryan and I dressed up for Friday and not Saturday. It was really nice to not have to worry about getting ourselves dressed up AND the kids. We each had our separate days. Ryan went as a dead body and I was the CSI investigating his death. I think Ryan looked pretty good (isn’t that why I married him?), but seriously, he looked like he tried to jump me in a dark alley. (My defense is to gouge out the eyes.) Anyways, we played some really fun games and enjoyed some much needed time away from our chil’ens.

The kids dressed up as: Braxton was the black Spiderman, Chloe was Minnie Mouse, and Peyton was Snow White. They all looked really cute. They loved being able to go out and get candy. Braxton learned how to scream Trick-or-Treat really loud, which was a little annoying as he practiced before he went out. We had decided to paint Braxton’s face instead of having him wear his mask, and after getting face paint all over the couch (of which I can’t get all the way off) we ended up taking the paint off his face. I think he kept the paint on for almost 45 minutes or so. So he ended up going out with his mask on anyway of which, he almost never wore. Darn kid! Ryan took the kids out first, (I believe so he could be home to watch the end of the Utah game and the Yankee game), and then I took the kids out. After I had taken Braxton to two houses he got mad at me for wanting to keep going. He just wanted to “go back home with Dad and watch the game”. That’s how you know he’s such a Daddy’s boy. I would never pass up more candy to watch sports. So there’s a small look into our Halloween.
