The last month

This last month has been somewhat monumental for our family. Mostly because Braxton started kindergarten. It has been a huge adjustment for all of us.

He really likes his teacher and loves school once he is there. Getting him to go is a different story. He has some separation anxiety. I thought we had passed this phase when he was one, but I guess I'm wrong. He now needs extra hugs and anytime we go to leave (without him) he has a complete breakdown, even if we're only gone for a moment.

He loves riding the bus and we are sad to know that it won't be here next year.
Chloe also started joy school. She loves going and apparently doesn't say much. (which is good) I'm really liking it so far, we'll see what I think after my turn to teach. Sadly, my camera wasn't charged so I personally don't have the pictures of her first day, but they did take pictures.
(Sitting at the table working with his two princesses. I know the computer screen says FOX but that is because he has to listen to stuff while working. And yes, Peyton is just in her diaper, she loves to be nude.)

Ryan has been working from home, doing some side work for the past little while. It's been a bitter sweet thing for us. It's sometimes really hard for the kids to not bother him and we never get a break from each other. But on the plus side, we are always together. If we decide to do something during the day, then we can, he just has to work at night. If I need to run to the store and Peyton is sleeping, I can. Hopefully we can find some work for him soon. The side job won't last forever.

We also made a really cool 16th birthday cake, but you'll have to check out our cake blog to see pictures.

Braxton is just the most handsome Kindergartener ever! I am sorry he is having such a hard time going, hopefully soon he will just turn a leaf and be happy as ever to ditch you! (That is how Oak is, sometimes I wish she would make a fuss so I know that she misses me when she's gone!)

Love the cake, very cute!

Hopefully Ry can find a stable, boring 9 to 5 soon!!

Love you guys!

Braxton is such a great little guy! He will soon enough run to the bus without looking back, so I wouldn't worry about it, although I feel for him. And something will come along for Ryan too -- hang in there! You guys are the best!

I'm praying that Ryan finds a job soon! That's zero fun!! Tell him hi for me and that I'm sending good thoughts his way.

Your kids are so cute! Seriously.
